For more than 30 years, JGC Philippines has been at the forefront of developing large-scale projects, local and international, that continuously aim to create a prosperous future for JGC clients, people and society at a macro level.  At the same time, JGC Philippines has sought to engage employees to share this purpose, on an individual level, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program.

Every year, through the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of JGC Philippines, the company and employees support community-based initiatives aimed at helping preserve the environment, promote education and support the local community.

Y2022 - Operation SMILE

JPHIL in 2nd partnership with Operation Smile Philippines Inc. (OSP) sponsored the surgeries of 17 children with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities for the Y2022 CSR Program. A total of Php 500,000 donation was shared between the company and the employees. Fundraising activities such as “Bingo for a Cause” and the selling of merchandise items were launched to support the program.

A medical mission organized by OSP held on June 25, 2022, at Pagamutan ng Dasmarinas was attended by JPHIL CSR Committee members to assist and interact with the children and their parents before the awaited operation. It was an opportune moment as well to get to know the stories of the chosen families. Truly a life-changing activity that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

Y2021 - JGC Philippines Donates to Victims of Typhoon Odette

In the afternoon of December 16th, "Odette" (deemed as the most powerful typhoon to hit the country this year) left unprecedented damage in southern and central parts of the Philippines with hundreds of thousand families affected and to flee their homes days before the Christmas holidays.

With the company's continuing efforts to take part in the humanitarian cause of our nation, JGC Philippines, Inc. and its CSR committee have supported the Philippine Army and Lander's "HELP VISMIN" donation drive. A total of Php 300,000.00 worth of food packs and hygiene supplies were donated to approximately 300 to 400 affected families.

Truly, great things can be achieved with camaraderie, passion, and sincerity. Our heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed in any way to this CSR initiative.

Y2021 - JGC Philippines Donates to Scholars of Caritas Manila

JPHIL donated forty (40) computer sets to the Youth Servant Leadership Education Program (YSLEP), the flagship program of Caritas Manila with their youth scholars. The beneficiaries of computer sets are Senior High School Students in major colleges and universities in Metro Manila.

A turnover ceremony which was attended by representatives from JPHIL, YSLEP and Caritas Manila was held on October 22, 2021, at St. John Bosco Parish.

Y2020 - JGC Philippines Donates to Typhoon Ulysses Victims

JPHIL donated its Christmas Party budget for food relief packs for 700 families in Bustos and Baliuag Bulacan communities that were affected by severe flooding and spill over from Angat Dam, home rebuilding/construction materials to residents of Barangay Bote,  Bato Catanduanes who suffered massive loss of homes, and for fishing boats for affected families in Lobo Batangas who lost their means of livelihood, because of the typhoon.  The donation was made through the ABS CBN Foundation.

Y2020 - JGC Philippines Donates to Muntinlupa Frontliners

The CSR Team of JPHIL raised funds through a donation drive to show support and appreciation for doctors and nurses and medical staff of Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) and Ospital ng Muntinlupa (OSM).  RITM and OSM are located within 3.9 kilometers from JPHIL. During the government-imposed quarantine due to COVID-19, while employees were in the safety of their homes, the medical and health personnel braved the risk of getting infected while caring for COVID-19 patients. The funds were used to purchase protective gear sets (coveralls, face masks, face shields, gloves), multivitamins and disinfectants.

Y2020 - Let's Help Taal Donation Drive

In the wake of Taal Volcano eruption, JPHIL donated mattresses and blankets to affected families residing in Laurel, San Nicolas and Talisay in Batangas through its “Let’s Help Taal Donation Drive” in cooperation with the Office of Social Welfare and Development of Batangas City and Landers Superstore Alabang.

Y2019 - Operation SMILE

JPHIL sponsored the surgeries of 30 children with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.  Total sponsorship for 25 children was shared between the company and the employees.  Various fund-raising activities supported the surgery of 5 children.  This initiative aimed to bring smiles to the faces of the beneficiaries and their families.

Y2014 to Y2018 - CSR 5-Year Program

JPHIL extended financial support for the education of graduating students of Sisters of Mary Boys Town and Girls Town Schools from Year 2014-2018.

55 students were sponsored by the company and by employees thru the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of JPHIL and CSR fund raising activities.  The students of Sisters of Mary were selected from the poorest of the poor families and housed within the Town Schools to ensure that they complete secondary education and graduate equipped with life skills and vocational skills.  The sponsored students are now all employed and are able to support their families.

Y2013 - JGC Philippines partnered with Haribon Foundation

JPHIL  partnered with Haribon Foundation and JPHIL volunteers planted 1,000 seedlings in support of Haribon’s “Road to Y2020” project.

Y2012 - Relief Goods Distribution and Donation

JPHIL donated raincoats, rain boots, nebulizers with nebules, and antibiotics to 600 evacuees, approximately 150 families, in the flooded areas of Barangay Purok 4.5, and 6 along San Guillermo Street in Bayanan, Muntinlupa City.

Y2011 - Adopt a School, Adopt the Students Program

JPHIL donated 10 computers, school supplies to 400 students and construction of rooms in Itaas Elementary School in Muntinlupa City.

Y2010 - JGC Philippines Partnered with World Wide Fund (WWF)

Seventy-five JPHIL employees led by Top Management joined the Mangrove Planting in Subic Bay, Zambales and Coastal Clean-up in Morong, Bataan.

Y2009 - JGC Philippines Partnered with La Mesa Eco Park Movement

JPHIL volunteer employees led by Top Management planted 800 trees to support the La Mesa Ecopark Movement.

Y2001 - JGC Philippines Partnered with DENR

JPHIL partnered with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in the  Luntiang Pilipinas (Green the Philippines) urban forestry program.

“Compliance is the basis of our business.”  This is the spirit by which the Compliance Program of JGC Philippines, Inc. is carried out.  As part of the JGC Group of Companies, JGC Philippines also adopted the JGC Group Compliance Program.  With these, JGC Philippines implements a strict anti-bribery and corruption policy, strict compliance to all laws and regulatory requirements, while seeking to maintain a nurturing environment for professional ethics and personal commitment to JGC Philippines’ compliance code of business ethics and conduct.

JGC Philippines expects its employees, officers, directors and agents to abide with all the laws of the land and maintain utmost responsibility, integrity, honesty and trust of the society. 

Compliance Office

The Compliance Program is managed by the Compliance Office directly under the Office of the President. A Chief Compliance Officer and Division Compliance Officers are designated from among the managers of each division. The Compliance Office works as a team to ensure fairness in the decisions of the Compliance office, and relevance of the Compliance Office activities.
