Workplace Advocates on Safety in the Philippines recognized JGC Philippines’ safety achievements during the 4th Annual Occupational Safety and Health Convention held in Iloilo City on June 8, 2018 with two awards.
The first award given to JGC Philippines Operations and Maintenance (JMAINT) was for achieving 12 Million Safe Man hours accumulated over the span of a decade, for the Coral Bay Nickel Corporation Daily Maintenance project in Bataraza, Palawan, under the Metals Refining & Manufacturing Industry category.
The second award for JMAINT was for achieving 4 Million Safe Man hours accumulated over the span of five years, for the Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation Engineering & Integrated Tank Maintenance Services Project in Tabangao, Batangas, under the Petroleum Industry category.
The awards were received by JGC Philippines Vice President for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Business Development Cristy Ragil. She was joined by O&M Department Manager Cris Sangalang, QHSE Department Manager Jojo Lomibao, Lead Engineer Joseph Tolentino and Engineer Mark Jason Bacaltos.
